UPDATE: BBQ Results for 2/7/2003

 

This about sums it up!

 

Yes, it was cold, it was wet, it was a 3 hour drive

But nonetheless, we made the cook and are still alive.

Snow on early Saturday morning set the pace

So we got busy and started the race

 

Breakfast was served by the BSA

What a great little group to start the day

With food in our stomachs & hast in our pace

We smoked our food with no time to waste

 

Turn in came & went

And so did we, back to the tent

We packed up our pit and were ready to go

But we had to wait, to see who won the show

 

We were anxious and ready to go

And when the names were called we were all in a glow

We shared in the win with friends all around

We're glad we came, but are now homeward bound

 

Thanks to the VFW Folks

we had fun and told many jokes

Until we meet again on BBQ ground
